ACCESSIBILITY

The City of Calapan is accessible from Manila and its environs.
Travel time is approximately two to three hours via the
Southern Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and the Southern Tagalog
Access Road (STAR). Travelers could take a bus-ride from
Manila bound for Batangas International Port. For those who
want to take their private vehicles, driving is fun and an
interesting way to access the Port of Batangas.

At Batangas International Port, different ferry boats that
transport travelers daily to Calapan City offer their services to
the passengers at various rates. Tickets are available at all
ticketing outlets inside the Passenger Terminal, where
discounted rates are given to minors, students, senior
citizens and grouped passengers.

Calapan City is only 45 minutes away from Batangas Port via fast
craft ferry service. For those who wish to bring their vehicle,
enjoy the panoramic view or sceneries of the different islets,
sailing fishermen or possible school of dolphins diving, there
are RORO (Roll-On-Roll-Off) vessels plying the Calapan City-
Batangas City routes, considered as the country’s busiest route,
where travel time lasts for about 2.5 hours.
